A large proportion of Atlantic Coal’s product is sold to the steelmaking industry in the US as well as coal merchants who supply homes and public buildings.  However, the high quality anthracite mined at Stockton is a versatile material with numerous other industrial uses, for example in metallurgy, for filtration and as a tincture for glass products.   These niche markets also form an important component of Atlantic Coal’s overall sales profile.
