Company Overview

Atlantic Coal plc is a UK based, coal production and processing company, focussing predominantly on open cast mining and the processing of high-grade low emission coal.  The Company’s primary asset is the Stockton Colliery, a union free opencast anthracite mining and processing operation in the Pennsylvania Anthracite fields.  

The Company has a highly experienced Board and an ex Anglo-American management team, whose expertise and knowledge is being utilised to position the Company as a consolidator in the sector, targeting known coal regions in stable political environments.  In line with this the Board is leveraging the revenue generated from Stockton to acquire suitable assets, and build the production profile and resource base of Atlantic Coal.

Atlantic Coal is traded on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM), under the ticker symbol ATC.
